My kids loved making a game, and kept fighting over who would get to add a feature or test the game next. Here is the final result.
While I had to do most of the art and coding, Cedric developed the concept and Ceili put in her artistic opinion (particularly when it came to the flowers). Not only was this a fun game project, but a nice way to spend time with my kids. My wife does crafts with the kids on a regular basis, maybe I'll start making games with them as my version of a "craft". How cool is that!

That is way cool dad. It also shows why we need to use computers more as learning tools because kids tend to respond with greater interest. By the way you have two cute kids.
Your kids are adorable! I think it is so cool you did this with them; I may be biased because my girls and I play with Flash at home as well. BTW; the flowers are beautiful :)
Abby and I draw together all of the time. I had never considered something like this with her. Thanks for the inspiration. Are you wanting to try and play at the Christmas program this year? Give me a shout.
Jim,
I tried this at home with Abby.We had a real good time working on it.I managed to draw Dora the Explorer's head and made it move across the screen. My flash skills are improving and I am trying to experiment more with the software. thanks for the idea.
